What we collect and why

• Account and contact details (business name, your name, email, phone, address): to run your account, send invoices, provide support and meet our legal obligations. Basis: contract and legal obligation.
• Billing information (invoices, payment status, Direct Debit mandate reference, bank name and account holder name as returned by GoCardless): to collect payment. We never see or store full card numbers or bank account numbers; those are handled by Stripe and GoCardless.
• Domain registrant details (name, organisation, address, phone, email, and for .uk names your registrant type and company number): required by domain registries to register a domain in your name. These are passed to our registrar partner 20i and may appear in public WHOIS/RDAP records where the registry requires it.
• Hosting and support data (your websites, mailboxes, DNS, support tickets and the emails you send us about them): to provide and support the services. Basis: contract.
• Portal usage (sign-in link requests, actions you take in the portal): for security and to keep an audit trail of changes to your services. Basis: legitimate interest.

We don't collect anything we don't need for the above, and we don't sell personal data.

Who we share it with

• 20i Ltd: hosting platform and domain registrar (UK).
• Stripe: card payments. GoCardless: Direct Debit collection.
• StackMail (20i): the mailboxes we provide and our own support mailbox.

Retention

Account and billing records are kept for 6 years after the end of our relationship to meet UK tax and accounting rules. Support tickets and portal activity are kept for the life of your account plus 12 months. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, object to or restrict processing, and ask us to delete it (see data deletion). Email hello@arrowdevelopment.co.uk or raise a ticket. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Marketing

We occasionally email existing clients about our services. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; service emails (invoices, receipts, support replies, renewal notices) continue because they are part of providing the service.
